Strikingly attractive set of 12 Victorian frosted Silver-Gilt teaspoons plus pair of tongs, impeccably decorated with an oriental design.
Maker: George Adams. London 1867.

Each piece is engraved with the same crest in a cartouche. They are all decorated in the same manner on the stem between the cartouche and the bowl of the spoon. Above the cartouche the spoons have varied images including rams, fish, crabs and dancing figures.
The spoons and the tongs are in virtually unused, mint condition with clear hallmarks and are quite delightful. They would make an excellent gift.

Weight: 9.4 troy ounces (292.6 grams) set of 12 teaspoons.
0.72 troy ounces (22.3 grams) tongs.

Dimensions

Length: Teaspoons 5 inches (12.7cm) - Tongs 4.1 inches (10.4cm)
