Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Shamrock Brooch circa 1890.
An elegant Victorian sapphire shamrock scrollwork brooch.
This lovely brooch has a central sapphire and diamond shamrock set within a diamond and pearl scroll. The scrollwork section is attached to a fine bar with a sapphire set to each end.
The gemstones are fronted in silver, typical of the Victorian era onto a gold back with a gold pin. The pin has an integral safety catch which folds on to the pin keeping the brooch secure when worn.
The brooch is finely made and in wonderful condition.

Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.
Measurements: Brooch 4.2cm in length, 1.2cm at widest point. It weighs 4 grams.
