Victorian Pearl and Diamond Clasp circa 1900.
A fabulous Victorian diamond and pearl clasp.
The cushion cut diamond 3 stone clasp has a central diamond in a fine claw setting with a half pearl set to each side. The diamond is mounted in platinum.
The clasp is for a single row of pearls with a tongue style catch which is hidden when closed, and has a good strong snap being secure when used. There is a loop to attach a safety chain if required.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.
Measurements: Cushion cut diamond estimated 0.50 carats.
Clasp 11.5 mm long, 5.3 mm wide.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests platinum and gold.
