A Victorian needlework picture of a three masted ship, unusually initialled and dated.
Worked in coloured wools with silk highlights and beads on linen, bearing the initials 'W. B.' and date 1845 (?), the ship depicted off a coast with a row of cottages, a church and a castle flying the Union Flag. The long pennant streaming out behind signifies the vessel is returning home. In a simulated tortoiseshell painted frame.
