Victorian Mahogany Cased English Fusee Wall Clock by J.Huband, Evesham.

Mahogany round dial wall clock with convex re-painted dial Roman numerals and signed ‘J.Huband, Evesham’. Cast brass bezel and original ‘blued’ steel hands.

Eight day Fusee movement with substantial shouldered shaped brass plates.  Circa 1860.

Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World by Brian Loomes lists James Huband as working in Evesham, Worcestershire from c.1850-1872.
