A Victorian diamond-set feather brooch, the two realistically carved feathers encrusted with old European-cut diamonds, tied with an old-cut diamond-set ribbon, the diamonds weighing approximately a total of 20 carats, all set in silver to yellow gold back, with gold detachable brooch and gold clip fitting to be worn as hair ornament, circa 1860, gross weight 56.7 grams, compare with similar aigrette by O. Massin illustrated in “French Jewellery of the Nineteenth Century” by Henri Vever page 707.
