Victorian Diamond Marquise Ring circa 1880.

An elegant late Victorian marquise diamond ring.

This beautiful ring has 21 old cut diamonds in a marquise or 'navette' cluster design. The diamonds are beautifully silver spitch set with a yellow gold open back.

The ring has fine carved detailing to the shoulders onto a  tapered shank typical of rings from this era. The diamonds are well matched and closely set giving the impression of a single stone when viewed from a distance.

This lovely ring is very low set to the finger typical of the era and would make a beautiful unique engagement ring.

Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.

Measurements: Central old-cut diamond estimated 0.30 carats.

Total diamond weight estimated 2.6 carats H/I colour.

Head of ring 25mm in length, 10mm at widest point.

Ring Size: P 1/2 (UK) 8 1/4 (US) 57.5 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost but with some limitations due to the design.

Hallmarks: Worn makers mark, tested silver and 18ct gold.
