A stylish pair of Victorian rich coloured coral button earrings.
These lovely earrings have 'button' shaped corals mounted simply onto a gold cup to the reverse with a short yellow gold hook fitting. They are a beautiful rich colour and well matched.
Coral was a popular choice for jewellery in the Victorian era as it was often bought when travelling as part of the 'grand tour' from warmer countries such as Italy.
These earrings could be converted to a post and butterfly fitting if required.
