A charming mid 19th century mahogany two door Miniature Chiffonier. Having carved decoration to back and two panelled below on original plinth.
An unusual type of piece to see a miniature variation of this was almost certainly made originally as a travelling salesman's sample.
It would have been constructed as a scale replica of the full size versions the workshop was producing at the time and dispatched in the horse and cart with the salesman for a few months and used to take orders for full size versions from.
Circa 1860.
