The Dish is rectangular in form with a raised gadrooned rim and two side handles, also decorated with gadrooning. The slightly domed pull-off cover terminates in a reed and crossed branch finial. The front of the cover is engraved with a contemporary Crest and the base is also engraved with the same Crest.

The Dish is of the finest quality as would be expected from this maker and is fully marked on the base and the cover. These dishes were used to serve asparagus or bacon and examples are very rare.
