The Pocket Snuff Box is of an unusually large curved form and is decorated on the hinged cover, base and two sides with unusual stylised sycamore leaves on a prick dot ground.
The sides are engraved with a band of prick dot waves with foliate sprigs above. The decoration is in excellent crisp condition, as are the marks and the finely gilded interior.
