A very fine set of six silver gilt agate handled knives made in london in 1847 by George Adams.

The Knives have palely gilded bladed and beautifully shaded red agate handles.  These could be used when eating fruit, cheese or bread and make quite a statement on the table.  They are in exceptional condition and each blade is very well marked.  George Adams was a prolifice silversmith, who made some of the finest flatware during this period.

Length: 8.5 inches, 21.25 cm.
