London, 1784
The Salver is oval in form and stands on four cast panel feet decorated with fan shaped fluting.
The raised rim is decorated with two beaded bands, in sizes, and the centre is engraved with a contemporary Armorial surrounded by a beautiful cartouche of drapery mantling.
This example is in excellent condition, has crisp marks and a very good colour.
The Armorial is that of the Holland family of Bognor, County Sussex and Benhall, County Suffolk.
