The Caddy Spoon displays a circular bowl pierced with an outer band of tear drops and a central star motif. The piercing is surrounded by an eclectic mix of prick dot and wriggle work designs.

The slender Old English pattern handle is decorated with bright cut designs and a cartouche containing contemporary script initials. A similar spoon is shown in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 21, Fig e. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
