A full pile antique Veramin carpet with deep indigo blue background and a warm red border, a refined classical carpet in excellent condition and full pile. Woven around circa 1920 Veramin is a town located in the south of Tehran.
Veramin rugs and carpets are famous for this ‘Mina Khani’ floral design which consists of flowers connected by vines and using soft pinks, blues, reds and yellow dyes.
A very beautiful and decorative antique carpet which is in good original condition, no damage or restoration and with good underlay we provide it would be an attractive decorative carpet for the floor.
Veramin carpets and rugs are woven in city of Varamin and its surrounding area which are among the most famous carpets in the world.
Many rug and carpet experts see Veramins as being among those Persian carpets most authentic in terms of traditional style and motifs. The most common design among Veramin rugs is the “Mina Khani” design which is the design we see in this delightful fine rug.
