An Unusual Pair of George IV Silver-Gilt Cup and Covers John Bridge for Rundell, Bridge & Rundell.

English, Circa 1824-26.

Hallmarks for Rundell, Bridge & Rundell, London, 1824-1826.  

Each cup has a lobed circular foot, with a collared stem and a campana-shaped body decorated with a frieze depicting a pair of greyhounds chasing a rabbit against a naturalistic background.  The detachable domed covers each with a recumbent greyhound finial.
