An unusual pair of regency period ormolu and bronze mounted cut-glass candelabra the bronzed rectangle bases are finely mounted with lion paw feet, basket of fruit and flowers these bases surmounted with a gilt horse jumping towards a bronzed gate the horse supporting a twin branch serpent decorated ormolu arm this arm surmounted with feather cut turnover drip pans and diamond band feather cut candle nozzles the candelabras centered by an ormolu flame finial and draped with star spangles and triangular icicle drops the candelabra are of a very unusual design and may have been a special commission.
