Probably dating to the last decade of the 17th century, this oak folding table has the unusual feature of a rear leg which slides out from under the boarded top. The baluster turned legs are set well in under the top making it very easy to sit at and the stretchers are unusually deep. It has superb colour and patination and is probably from the Welsh borders. It is a very versatile table and could be used as a side or serving table or a small dining table.
