Two similar mid-19th Century yew wood and elm Windsor armchairs. The hooped backs enclosing a pierced central splat of  "Christmas tree" design typical of Nottingham manufacture at this period. The elm seats with turned legs below connected by a yew wood Crinoline Stretcher. Both retaining good colour and condition throughout. Circa 1845
