Winter looking to his left and summer to her right, represented by a fur muff and a sheaf of corn.
Literature – An example of Summer with very similar colouring was sold at Christies, British and Continental Ceramics, 8 December 2003, lot 47, where it was dated to 1757.
Complete sets are very rare, but examples have been sold on behalf of the Emma Budge Estate at Bonhams, Fine European Ceramics, 17 June 2015, and in An Unique Collection of Nymphenburg Porcelain mainly modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli, Christies, 2-3 July 1956, lot 60
