A single compartment Tunbridge Ware tea caddy with a view of Eridge Castle to the lid and a floral border to the frieze.

Circa 1880

Eridge Castle was built in the Gothic Revival style, in the manner of Horace Walpole's Strawberry Hill House. Eridge Castle was demolished in 1938 and replaced with a Georgian style mansion, known as Eridge Park.
