A small, ebony veneered, Tunbridge Ware jewellery box inlaid with a floral panel and with borders of geometric mosaic. The interior is lined with original pink velvet and has partitions for rings. The base has a rare paper label for Henry Hollamby.

Circa 1870

Henry Hollamby rarely labelled his work because he was primarily a wholesaler, supplying retailers who were unlikely to want to advertise details of their supplier.
