A very fine trinket cabinet veneered in bird's eye maple with a view of Tonbridge Castle to the top. The doors are inlaid with panels of perspective cubes and there are floral borders on the inside of the doors, the top and side panels. The plinth is decorated with a vandyke border, repeated on the large drawer, which sits below eight smaller drawers inlaid with geometric patterns. Each drawer is fitted with large stickware knobs, 1.5cm in diameter and the cabinet sits on stickware feet.

Attributed to George Wise Junior. Circa 1865-70
