A pair of Tunbridge Ware extending bookends with views of the Solar and Buckingham Buildings, Penshurst Place and with a view of Herstmonceux Castle. This version of Herstmonceux is unusually set within an oval and is one of two Tunbridge Ware views with the sky in tesserae. ( Shakespeare's Birthplace is the other with the sky treated in this way). Attributed to Henry Hollamby.
