A handsome 18th century ebonised table clock. 

Case

Classic inverted bell top style case with brass centre carrying handle, brass pineapple finials and brass ogee bracket feet. Pierced brass frets to the front door.

Dial

7 inch break arch brass dial with rococo spandrels and enamel subsidiary strike/silent dial to the arch signed Thos Wagstaffe, London with blued steel hand. Enamel chapter dial with Roman hour numerals and Arabic minutes. Blued steel hands. 

Movement

The eight day fusee movement with beautifully engraved backplate has original verge escapement and strikes the hours on a bell.
