Thomas Mackay was born in Liverpool in 1851. He worked mostly around the North West and exhibited throughout the UK including the Royal Academy and the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. His work is now held in both private and public collections.
"Spring" is a lovely example and a fine quality watercolour. It measures 6"x 8" and is signed lower right. It is in good original condition and is in the original gilt frame giving an overall size of 13"x 16".
