An extremely fine antique Tabriz carpet, circa 1930 woven with great detail by highly skilled weavers. An unusual yellow dye for the main colour and delicate pinks and greens. This carpet could work well in a drawing room, dining room or bedroom. Rugs and carpets have been made in Tabriz for centuries, but it has only been a major producer since the mid 19th century.
Tabriz is located in the north-west of Persia, it was the major center for production of rugs and carpets.
