A fine and large lobby post box from a gentleman's club, hexagonal, honey-coloured oak with brass stringing, black and white enamelled flap and blue leather-lined interior; the top carved and edged with a running ball detail, a drawer to the plinth base. English, last quarter of the nineteenth century. 25.5 inches high.
