Superb Pique Snuff Shoe.
Considered a sign of luck and often given as a ‘love token’ from a sweetheart, this snuff shoe has outstanding original Pique work. Beautifully decorated all over with tiny brass pins and inlaid with Mother of Pearl shell veneer. Even to the sole. The timber is Rosewood, the condition immaculate throughout. Circa 1810, a superb affordable piece to add to or start a collection from.
