A striking early and rare A E Jones silver teapot with Ruskin finial.  I think this is one of the nicest and most original pieces by Jones I have seen, with very good lines and a subtle Guild of Handicraft style finial adding a hint of colour.  The original catalogue image of this teapot can be seen in “images” (with thanks to Hammer and Hand Antiques). Hallmarked for 1909.  In excellent condition, just one pin is missing from the handle.
