Salt-glazed stoneware teapot colored, decorated with male figure playing the flute whilst standing against trees, the reverse side shows a female figure arms outstretched standing in trees and shrubs. This specific teapot formed part of the famous Earle Collection of Early English pottery and is illustrated figure 92A page 22 in the Major's catalog published in 1915.
