This large-scale Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure depicts Apollo, the Greek god holding a lyre with books at his feet. The square base and his robes are decorated in bright purple and blue enamels. There is good attention to detail and modeling on this quality figure.
Dimensions: 13.5 inches high.
Current Condition: Part of lyre restored.
