Japanese Satsuma square section bottle vase, painted with figures on corresponding side such as a couple enjoying Hanami, cherry blossom viewing.  On parallel sides landscape floral and birds scene, one of a group of pigeons among the peonies all in circular panels depicting the four seasons.
