Spode New Stone China Large Eighty Four Piece Dinner Service, Pattern 3504.
Circa 1820.
The service is decorated in an Imari pattern in iron red light & dark blue and gold of a stand of bamboo and other plants in the centre of the plates with a band of flowering plants around the rim.
The service of eighty four pieces is brightly decorated with a Japan pattern is comprised of the following items: Some pieces were not fired with the iron-red.
27 Diner Plates (9 3/4 inches).
24 Soup Plates (9 1/2 inches).
23 side plates (8 inches).
3 vegetable Tureens & Covers 1 Large Platter (191/2 inches).
1 Salad Bowl (9 1/2 inches).
