A very fine and rare early 18th century Oyster Laburnum veneered cabinet on Stand. The pair of doors enclosing an arrangement of small drawers around a central inner temple with mirrored-back.
Raised on a walnut stand with later barley-twist legs joined by shaped stretcher with bun feet.
The Legs and stretchers were probably replaced in the early 20th century.

As is so often the case with such pieces, after 300 years of standing on damp floors, the legs would have weakened and got damaged.

Circa 1690
