This fine George II Antique Sterling Silver Sauce Boat or cream boat is of oval rounded form. The body is plain and embellished with an ornamented wave shaped rim.
The sauce / cream boat has a C scroll handle with a decorated thumbpiece and scrolling lower terminal. The sauce/cream boat is supported by three impressive applied hoof feet with stylised shell decorated sockets.
