An early 19th century quarter repeating cylinder with calendar in silver pair cases.  Full plate fire gilt fusee movement with round pillars.  Unusual cock with solid engraved round table, engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc.  Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel.  Push pendant quarter repeating on a bell in the back of the case.  

Signed white enamel dial with centre chapter for the date, Roman numerals, blue steel calendar hand, gilt hands.  Silver pair cases, pierced and engraved inner case, silver push pendant and bow.  Plain silver outer case, a pulse button in the front bezel to silence the bell, maker's mark "CHFB".
