An extraordinary silver mounted mother of pearl snuff box, deeply carved to all sides with Biblical scenes from the Old Testament.
Possibly English (the silver unmarked), second half of the 18th century.
Measures 8 x 6.3 x 4.8cm.
In exceptional condition, however the right side panel has been cracked and re-glued, although barely noticeable.
