A fine silver gilt model of the coronation chair (complete with the removable Stone of Scone!) made in Birmingham in 1978 by Toye,Kenning and Spencer.This fine detailed model which was specifically commissioned for the Queens Jubilee (1977) is mounted on a marble plinth and is in excellent condition.The Coronation Chair was made in 1296 during the reign of Edward I.The stone underneath is often referred to as the Stone of Scone or The Stone of Destiny.
