A silver gilt and rock crystal pendant containing an image of Christ from the veil of Saint Veronica.
The rock crystal in the form of a pyramid with a window at its point is cleverly cut to refract and multiply the image of Christs head at its base.
The reverse of the silver mount is engraved with ‘A(ve) M(aria)’ and the sides with a rope twist border.
