18th century, Sheraton Pembroke table, the rectangular top with well figured veneers within broad satinwood crossbanding, kingwood banding and boxwood and ebony stringing. To the edge, rosewood crossbanding.
The leaves of ‘D’ form each supported by a pair of brackets, the base with drawer and faux drawer to the reverse. Stands upon square, tapered legs with inlaid oval paterae and fine stringing, terminating with original brass box castors.
