Sheraton oval harewood tea caddy.
The mahogany box veneered with striped figured harewood. The brass hinged top with boxwood stringing, inlaid with oval boxwood panel decorated with floral penwork, the panel repeated to the front.
The interior with a mahogany oval lid with turned bone handle and within traces of tea box pewter lining.
English, circa 1780 – 1800.
