A Set of 149 Grand Tour Plaster Intaglios in Three Original Plain Tree Wood Trays.

Pietro Paoletti.  Rome 1801- 1847.

Height 14 ½” (36cm) width 9 ½” (36 cm).

Each tray represents intaglios from the following:

Museo Di Napoli         42.
Museo Vaticano          58.
Museo Capitolino        49.

These intaglios are in mint condition and protected with gilt paper around the rims.

The definition is outstanding and suggests that these are early casts.

The original trays have been later mounted with gilt frames and glazing for preservation and wall hanging.
