Set of Four George III silver salts of navette form with reeded borders all standing on oval pedestal bases, on which reeded borders are repeated. The interior of each salt is gilded and they are in superb condition.

They were made by Peter and Ann Bateman and over marked by Thomas Ollivant, who was a retailer in Manchester.Thomas Ollivant retailer used to buy extensively from the Bateman family.
