Set of fifteen silver Dinner Plates with gadroon shell and anthemion borders.
Dimensions: 10.5” (26.5cm) wide and weighing an impressive 361oz (11,250g).
They are engraved on one side with the arms of Sophia Elizabeth Wykeham and on the other side with her initials and a Baroness’s coronet, engraved in 1834 when William IV bestowed the title upon her.
Hallmarked for London 1831, Maker John Bridge.
