A set of eight mahogany dining chairs by Marsh, Jones and Cribb, in the style of the Grendey chairs at Stourhead.

Comprising six side chairs and two carvers, the carvers each with strapwork scallop backs, scroll arms, acanthus carved cabriole front legs with ball-and-claw feet and generous leather-upholstered seats, carved throughout with floral tendrils.

Bearing a paper label ‘Marsh, Jones & Cribb (Late Kendal &Co)’.
