Late George IV period set of four Regency faux rosewood side chairs.
The gadrooned crest to the centre top rail interlocks the reeded supports with a carved circular medallion above an inverted bell-shaped patterned back rail. The crisply carved 'ears' are scrolled and sit at the top of the uprights.
The drop in seats are screw downs and are firmly upholstered and stand on sabre legs and have no splits or breaks.
The chairs are faux rosewood and made from beechwood.
