A fine matched set of 16 Victorian mahogany dining chairs in the Chippendale style.
Each of generous proportions with a shaped cresting rail, openwork Gothic tracery to the splat, scrolling cabriole front legs and outswept back legs, carved with fleshy acanthus leaves and re-upholstered in distressed and close-nailed burgundy leather.
English, circa 1890.
