A good rare set of 12 eighteenth century George III period silver dessert forks in the old English pattern made in London in 1786 -1798 all by George Smith and William Fearn and George Smith (alone). 5 dessert forks are 1786 by Smith and Fearn,2 1796 Smith and Fearn, 2  1797 and 3 1798 all George Smith alone. The forks are in excellent condition and sets of eighteenth century dessert forks are increasingly hard to find.
