A delightful set of ten matched English late 19th century ash and elm ladder back Country Dining Chairs, consisting of eight single chairs and two armchairs.

Having elegant wavy ladderbacks over rushed seats, raised on turned legs and stretchers.

These chairs are in excellent functional condition. They have been through our workshops for a wax and been tightened up so they are ready to go straight into use.

The rushed seats are all in good order with some very minor repairs to a few of them, but these repairs have been very well executed and the rush is very much fit for purpose which is of course very important these days with restoration of rushed seats costing so much money.

These chairs are matched, meaning that they did not all start life together and that is the case with around 90% of the sets you see of these styles of chairs.

There is always slight variations and indeed because they were made in country workshops there is very often variations even in sets that have started their lives together.

Perfect for both a formal and casual setting in both a town or country home this set of chairs
is great value and incredibly functional.
